What is Proofreading?

Proofreading is the final step in your editing process. If you are looking to book our proofreading services, the manuscript must have already been edited, preferably by a developmental editor and/or copy editor, and must meet the following criteria: no more than 1% errors per one thousand words, and no issues with point of view, tense, or sentence structure. Proofreading is not a replacement for other types of editing. If the above criteria are not met, we will contact the client and inform them of the situation.

101-150k	7-9 business days

For larger manuscripts, please request turnaround time frames.

The dates will be stipulated in the agreement when booked.
